Malaysia is a country located in South East Asia (SEA), consisting 127,000 sq miles.
Malaysia geographically is divided into two major regions; West Malaysia or well known as Pennisular which is shares a border with Thailand, and has coastline on the South China Sea and the Straits of Malacca. However, East Malaysia shares borders with Brunei and Indonesia. East Malaysia occupies the largest portion of Malaysia's total area, but it is primarily comprised of undevelopment land and jungles.
These two regions are divided into thirteen states and three Federal Territories. These thirteen states are Perlis, Kedah, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor, Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Penang Island, Sabah and Sarawak; Three Federal Territories are Kuala Lumpur, Putra Jaya and Labuan.
Malaysia is a multi racial country with multi cultural society, our population consist of Malays, Chinese, Indian and numerous indigenous peoples. With such a varying ethic composition, Malaysia is no surprise that a great diversity of religions. Although the official religion is Islam, but freedom of worship is practiced. As a result, Malaysia is a common to see temples, mosques, kuils and churches within the same area.
Malaysia is a paradise, from the tropical rainforests which rich with flora and fauna to the building cities with buildings that rise for the sky; from the mythical caves to the alluring islands on the South China Sea, Malaysia with her never ending charms has it all.
